Associate DevOps Engineer (Denver, Portland)


            Day to Day:

  • Interface with clients, offering support and guidance throughout projects.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve helpdesk tickets related to AWS deployments.

  • Deploy and maintain monitoring for AWS environments.

  • Develop diverse technology based solutions.

  • Automation through scripts and IaC.

  • In-office position in Denver, CO or Portland, OR. 

            Requirements

  • US Citizen and authorized to work in the United States

  • Computing Degree / Computer Science Degree from an accredited 4-year University OR combination of military/work experience.

  • Strong client communications skills

  • Familiarity with AWS cloud computing functions and basics.

  • Can automate implementations with bash and/or PowerShell scripts.

            Suggested Skills

  • Have experience with implementing and troubleshooting LAMP stacks.

  • System monitoring experience using solutions like CloudWatch, DataDog, New Relic, etc.

  • Experience with the following AWS services 

    • Elastic Cloud Compute (EC2)

    • Elastic Container Service (ECS)

    • Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)

    • Relational Database Service (RDS)

    • Load Balancers

    • Lambda

    • Identity & Access Management (IAM)

    • Simple Storage Service (S3)

    • CloudFormation & TerraForm (Hashicorp)

    • Codepipeline and CodeBuild

  • Candidates with AWS certifications strongly preferred
