Day to Day:

• Interface with clients, offering support and guidance throughout projects

• Develop diverse technology based solutions
  

• Troubleshoot and resolve helpdesk tickets related to AWS deployments

• Deploy and maintain monitoring for AWS environments

•  Automation through scripts and IaC

• Mentor junior engineers

• Remote role but bonus points for being able to go into the office in Boston, Portland or Denver

            Requirements

• US Citizen and authorized to work in the United States

• 5 - 7+ years of proven experience in designing and maintaining complicated AWS infrastructures.

• Ideally has background in helping to build up a managed services organization.
  

• Customer facing role - needs strong client communications skills.

• Can automate implementations with bash and/or PowerShell scripts.

• Microservices experience, specifically in configuring and managing microservices with containers including putting together Dockerfiles and docker-compose files.

• Have experience with implementing and troubleshooting LAMP stacks.

• System monitoring experience using solutions like CloudWatch, DataDog, New Relic, etc.

• Experience with the following AWS services 

  • Elastic Cloud Compute (EC2)

  • Elastic Container Service (ECS)

  • Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)

  • Relational Database Service (RDS)

  • Load Balancers

  • Lambda

  • Identity & Access Management (IAM)

  • Simple Storage Service (S3)

  • CloudFormation & TerraForm (Hashicorp)

  • Codepipeline and CodeBuild

• Candidates with AWS certifications strongly preferred
